Brabus Unveils the Exhilarating Rocket 900 R, an Extreme Edition of the Porsche 911 Turbo S

Brabus, the renowned luxury car tuner, introduced their latest creation: the Rocket 900 R. This limited-edition version of the Porsche 911 Turbo S takes an already fast car and transforms it into an even more extraordinary and visually striking machine. With only 25 units to be produced, the Rocket 900 R promises to be a rare gem for automotive enthusiasts.

The Brabus Rocket 900 R boasts an exceptional design that sets it apart from the standard Porsche 911 models. Brabus modified the body extensively, retaining only the bonnet, doors, and roof from the original vehicle. The wide star carbon fiber kit adds a distinctive and aggressive look, with the car widened by 60 millimeters compared to the already wide Turbo S. The carbon fiber body panels contribute not only to the car’s aesthetics but also to its exclusivity and hefty price tag, exceeding €500,000.

Notable changes include the removal of active aerodynamic elements, which may seem counterintuitive at first. However, Brabus has improved the car’s airflow despite the absence of these components. The front arches feature large, functional air vents that direct air to cool the brakes and enhance the overall aerodynamic performance. It’s worth mentioning that all vents on the Rocket 900 R are real, avoiding the frustration of fake vents seen in some other vehicles.

Under the hood, Brabus worked their magic on the engine, fitting larger turbos, a new ECU, and upgraded gearbox software. The result is a staggering power output of 900 brake horsepower and a jaw-dropping 1,000 newton meters of torque. While there is no official figure for the car’s 0-60 acceleration, it is expected to be significantly faster than the standard model’s already impressive time. The Rocket 900 R is also equipped with an inconel valve-controlled exhaust system, ensuring an exhilarating and emotive soundtrack.

Collaborating with KW Suspension, Brabus has developed a new suspension setup for the Rocket 900 R. This includes steel Flex brake hoses and a threaded height adjustment, resulting in a more dynamic driving experience. Although it remains to be seen how the car performs on the track, enthusiasts eagerly await a potential driving event to witness the Rocket 900 R’s capabilities firsthand.

Visually, the Rocket 900 R captivates with its stunning carbon fiber bodywork and attention to detail. From the sharp front end to the meticulously crafted rear arches, the design exudes both elegance and aggressiveness. The rear of the car features an eye-catching rear diffuser and a unique wing design that strikes a perfect balance between downforce and visual aesthetics.

Inside the Rocket 900 R, Brabus has left no stone unturned. The attention to detail is apparent in the hexagonal pattern leather upholstery, red piping, and even the satin red finish on the Burmester audio system. Every aspect of the car’s interior has been meticulously crafted to create a distinct and luxurious atmosphere.

The Brabus Rocket 900 R is a testament to the tuner’s dedication to pushing the boundaries of automotive performance and design. With its limited production run and impressive specifications, this exclusive edition of the Porsche 911 Turbo S is sure to be a coveted masterpiece among collectors and enthusiasts alike.
